#Fukushima I Nuke Plant: Aerial Photo Taken by a Private Firm in Niigata

It shows the devastation of the plant in a bright sunlight. From the right, the Reactors 2, 3, and 4 with the turbine buildings in front of the reactors. Two white tanks in front of the turbine buildings are the storage tanks for water for the heat exchangers for the turbines, which are now filling rapidly with radioactive water from the turbine buildings.

It is just surreal as the blurry video taken by the Self Defense Force. Unlike the SDF video which focuses more on the Reactors, this photo shows the devastation on the ocean side, in front of the turbine buildings.

The Reactor 4 looks just as bad as the Reactor 3, and TEPCO and the government have been telling us that it suffered a fire or two. That it suffered a blast or two would be more accurate.

The photo was taken by an aerial photography company in Myoko City in Niigata Prefecture. The company, Air Photo Service, took the photo using an unmanned aircraft on March 24.

It is posted at Asahi Shinbun.
