People from All Over Asia Protest in Front of TEPCO Head Office

The photo was uploaded on August 2 on Twitpic. The person who took the picture tweeted to one of the independent journalists covering the Fukushima accident as "People from all over Asia are protesting in front of TEPCO's head office right now. Are you aware of that?"

why aren't the japanese protesting there, whats wrong with the japanese? fucking brainwashed lambs to the slaughter....

Don't come to that sweeping conclusion based on one photo of one incident. Japanese people are protesting. Not all of Japanese deserve that kind of foul language. Save that to TPTB at the government, bureaucracy, TEPCO, elite scholars and their apologists in the media.

Stand up and be heard. Don't let these corporations stomp all over your rights and health!

No image displayed ... but the link provided in the commentary still works.

To EX-SKF : I hope some day the whole world will acknowledge your job as its looks to me : essential.

In these very hard times where Japanese People suffers so much, someone like you is no less but a real reason to stay confident in the future.

From a french guy, with respect.

(please forgive my bad english).

I've met some Japanese people who were quite rewarding to be around, so yes, this blog owner is deserving of respect.

Unfortunate to have to detail the exploits of the distorted hobgoblin politicians and corporate execs acting in this disaster. The blog owner has responded to their absurd challenge well.

The first comment is probably 'the mafia' anyway, with all the 'involved' interest they have.

OK I downloaded the pic and posted again. Sorry about that.

And thank you for your continued readership!

Thanks. You have very neatly caught me in the middle of that picture - one of only two Europeans present, I think. The Asian participants have been participating in a No Nukes Asian Forum sponsored by the Citizens' Nuclear Information Center, FoE Japan, Mekhong Watch and others. In a few days I will try to write a report about the 4 days in Tokyo, including this small demo (which did involve Japanese activists). During the demo, the overseas participants also visited METI and the TEPCO Head Office for meaningless talks with officials in each.

"How can you decon 10+ sieverts/hr radiation?"

Meters going offscale giving new meaning to this quote,

"The monitor told NHK that no one can enter the plant's No. 1 through 3 reactor buildings because radiation levels are so high that monitoring devices have been rendered useless. "
