Don't they understand, or care, of the immense increased contamination they'll be responsible for? I'm in Japan, in Kansai thankfully for now, but can any kind of international pressure be applied on Japan to stop such a thoughtless practice before it starts (well, starts in earnest, at least)? What good is the UN, for instance, if not for something like this, where so many other areas around the earth -- up to now mostly untouched -- will now become contaminated too, and people living there will get sick. Seriously, will there ever be a time when the primary force driving people in Japan is NOT the intense desire for more money?
