Americium and Curium are both strong alpha emitters which makes them inhalation hazards. As with most radioactive isotopes ingestion is dangerous but inhalation is a much greater danger. If it gets dry in the summer I would avoid any activities that promote re-suspension of these particles. Plowing a dusty field in the wrong place could vastly increase inhalation exposure in the future.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
