#Fukushima I Nuke Plant: T-Hawk on the Roof

Poor thing. The photo was taken on June 24 from the crane. TEPCO and some media called it an "emergency landing" on the roof of Reactor 2 building, as if the landing was controlled.

According to the tweets from a worker (Happy20790) who's been at the plant from the beginning of the accident, the strange lights that were seen in TEPCO's live cam at night were from T-Hawk operating at night. The worker also says that these T-Hawks are just too light and unstable, so they are tweaking the location of the camera to somehow balance better.

(People who know about nuclear power plants have said his tweets are credible.)

Looks like a big turkey that keeled over, with its legs in the air. Symbolic of TEPCO perhaps? Could be their mascot!

Fuku I Nuke Plant's mascot was an ostrich. Talk about head in the sand.

An ostrich? How utterly fitting. But that was then, this is now. Time for a new one maybe?

Gravity poisoning is a bitch.

TEPCO's luck must be changing, T-Hawks run on gasoline motors and it didn't cause fire or a hydrogen explosion when it crashed. Wouldn't that have been extra special if the only building in the reactor block not yet obliterated was blown to the moon by an expensive RC toy crashing into one of the holes they cut to release hydrogen?

And it also didn't crash into workers or delicate equipment it weighs about 20 pounds so a hard hat wouldn't help much. Yes, I'd say TEPCO is turning a corner.
