Ooi Nuke Plant Restart: Edano, Hosono, and Kingmaker Sengoku Arrive in Fukui Prefecture

They will speak with the governor of Fukui, and after some token "negotiation" the governor will give a go sign to restart Ooi Nuclear Power Plant as the national government says it will be somehow "responsible". Fukui Governor Nishikawa always wanted the extension of Hokuriku Shinkansen (bullet train) to Fukui. Give and take, the traditional Japanese way.

Just when Edano was in Fukui the last time, the police is there to protect the power that be. At least they are protecting human beings (no matter how depraved); the police in Kitakyushu City was protecting the disaster debris against residents.

The photo is from NATER from Fukui. The sign says "We're Against the Restart!":

By the way, even if the plant is restarted, the utility company Kansai Electric may still do the rolling blackouts anyway, according to the latest.

"Negotiation" - ie. big bucks in his personal pocket.

"Responsible" - ie. they'll be ready to point the finger at each other.

Restarting this plant is POLITICAL SUICIDE for all involved. Watch.

To The Japan Times,

Jun 3, 2012

I would like to applaud the Japan Times for their editorial which exposes the illogic of Japan to restart the nuclear reactors.

Quickstep to restarting reactors
http://www.japantimes.co.jp/text/ed20120603a1.html

The many technical reasons such as dubious computer models and out of date equipment used at the power plants flatly refutes the supposed urgency claimed by the Nuclear Village for a sudden restart. As the editorial notes this blundering mentality is a sure sign of the "further deterioration of the quality of Japan's politics," as if that were possible!

We now know that nuclear energy is a fraud foisted on the public as a cover for nuclear weapons and other money grabbing reasons. As Martin Cohen and Andrew McKillop write in their book, "The Doomsday Machine":

“Nuclear energy is incredibly expensive as well as fantastically dangerous....One might ask why, if nuclear power is the energy of the future, it has taken so long for it to supply less than 6 percent of the world’s energy. Even this meager achievement accounts only for commercial energy, excluding the requirements of world total primary energy of all kinds. In that case, nuclear power’s share drops even further, to about 2.5 percent.”

Indeed, as author Robert Zimmerman writes in “A Primer In The Art Of Deception,” a book that dissects the “cult of nuclearists” and their “fraudulent science”:

“The field of radiation protection has been heavily infiltrated and compromised by those with a vested interest in ensuring the proliferation of nuclear and radiological weapons and commercial nuclear reactors.”

A majority of people are against restarting the reactors because they do not trust that their health will be protected by the nuclear industry or government if another accident occurs. The politicians disagree, proving they do not honestly or accurately represent their constituencies.

Signed, Barack Obama (ha, kidding)

Anyone living in Japan would know this is illogical. The ring of fire is active as ever. Why do I feel these idiots are just pawns of the US oil policy? I would opine if one of us got Obama in a room for at least ten minutes alone he would be unable to answer any of the questions and would be humbled. As for these three, they should be able to explain why they take such an unscientific position other than leaving the room. Nuclear, coal and gas all lead to global warming. However, technology exists that does not.

There is big money in Nuclear for the elite who run the show and they are not gonna give that up, within less than a year and all reactors in Japan will be started up again... insanity rules right now

Do NOT start any reactors in Japan. It will be the end of Japan as you know it. Future generations with radioactive forests, water, farms, food, and children. Now is the time for the people to stand up and create a Japan with clean natural energy. Stop this insane poisoned power now! You can do it people!

Wouldn't be too bad if Ooi nuclear boys puke or poop soon after restart, I guess.

Look at the country of Germany as a example. They will be a nuclear-free country. They have the technology and know-how. Japan also has great technological know-how. Japan builds cars to compete against German cars, and they are just as excellent.

There is no reason that Japan cannot follow the example of Germany, and rely on more renewable sources of energy rather than nuclear. Even Albert Einstein said using nuclear energy to boil water to make electricity was madness.

Not many years ago, the genius scientist Nikola Tesla said that the energy from the sun was enough to provide free and abundant energy for everyone living on the earth. Why was his knowledge and technology suppressed?

Do you really think Germany's going to stay nuclear-free? I guess it depends on many things in the future... if there's no new scary, undeniable future development to come somewhere, they might easily change their opinion later... they're still alone with what they're doing right now, only this fact by itself shows how little fukushima or chernobyl or anything else is taken seriously on a global scale until now...

TESLA's ideas on solar were cut because EDISON wanted electricity ($$$$). As you know, Edison dumped Tesla after stealing most of his ideas. History repeats itself.

"The economic transmission of power without wires is of all-surpassing importance to man. By its means he will gain complete mastery of the air, the sea and the desert. It will enable him to dispense with the necessity of mining, pumping, transporting and burning fuel, and so do away with innumerable causes of sinful waste. By its means, he will obtain at any place and in any desired amount, the energy of remote waterfalls—to drive his machinery, to construct his canals, tunnels and highways, to manufacture the materials of his want, his clothing and food, to heat and light his home — year in, year out, ever and ever, by day and by night. It will make the living glorious sun his obedient, toiling slave. It will bring peace and harmony on earth.
--Nikola Tesla, "The Transmission of Electrical Energy without wires as a means for furthering Peace" in
Electrical World and Engineer (7 January 1905)

"This new power for the driving of the world's machinery will be derived from the energy which operates the universe, the cosmic energy, whose central source for the earth is the sun and which is everywhere present in unlimited quantities."
--Nikola Tesla, circa 1933

Actually the smarmy nuclear lobbyists are working hard to press Germany's politicians with the old litany that non-nuclear energy would be too expensive and hope to manipulate enough political leaders to allow nukes again. But they just want easy profits for which our descendants have to pay.

I have to admit that I hope the next spectacular nuclear accident happens soon, no matter where.
We seem to still need another nuclear catastrophe very soon to permanently turn public opinion.

Germany is not alone: Switzerland ditched plans to build new plants, Italy recently voted in a referendum to stay nuclear free (for the second time in 25 years), construction of new reactors faces economic difficulties in UK and the Netherlands, China is investing in wind 10 times more than it is in nuclear.
I live with my family in Japan and I do not need another Fukushima, nor do the Japanese children. Electricity can be made and distributed differently, without putting at stake whole swaths of the country. Japanese, wake up!

Hiroshima bomb.

Nagasaki bomb.

Emperor surrenders.

Fukushima triple meltdown.

Would the emperor please stand up and be heard. Before the other shoe drops, the emperor's guidance could save millions of lives.

Now is the time for the emperor to get involved.
