(UPDATED) 2 Explosions at Boston Marathon, At Least 2 Dead, Dozen Injured, Saudi Suspect in Hospital

(UPDATE 4) Boston Globe: 3 killed, at least 140 injured.

(UPDATE 3) Obama's statement to the press (or reading the text off his teleprompters) just started. So far, there is no new information about the explosions that Obama can disclose. "We will get to the bottom of this." And now it's already over. He didn't take any question.

(UPDATE 2) Obama to make a statement to the press at 6:10PM EST.

(UPDATE) Cellphone service is shut down in Boston to prevent remote detonation of explosives.

Here's the link to visit the Boston Globe video that autostarts: http://bcove.me/qwi5k6ap

Feel free to complain to Boston Globe.

NY Post reports the suspect is Saudi, but the article's headline screams "12 dead, 50 more injured", which may or may not be true. But then, area hospitals are treating injured people, and the number looks easily surpassing 50.

There was also an explosion at the JFK Library. Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis says this is an ongoing event, "“Stay home ... don’t congregate in large crowds."

WTF? An 8 yr. old boy dies among the casualties. Is this the kind of cowardly murderous shit humans are resorting to? From the bombing of Iraq and the killing of innocent people to the blowing up of garbage cans at a Boston marathon and the killing innocent people, a big FUCK YOU to all you misguided fuckers who slaughter the blameless.

Meanwhile you let people like banksters, crooked politicians and TEPCO execs. lead the good life. May you rot in hell for an eternity.

Many countries kill innocent children every day, including the United States (eg. drone strikes in Afghanistan). If it's not "one of ours", if it's not anyone important, or if it can't be used for political purposes, then it won't get mainstream exposure.

I mean, would the mainstream media report any news that could cause citizens to become distrustful and disrespectful of their country and its government? Not very likely.

The point is, it's not nice to kill any innocent people anywhere, but everyone does it anyway because they're assholes.

The blameless have always been the victims of the despicably guilty elite. The elite use "useful idiots" to do their dirty work. The useful idiots are conditioned and become victims themselves. However, it is the gutlessness of the guilty that is most VILE.

What would be worse is if our own government was behind this disgusting act. Thinking about that, if it were the case, makes my stomach churn even more intensely. I don't know what to think anymore.

Let's see - couple small bombs explode killing 3 people, injuring a couple dozen and interrupting a running event.

It will dominate the US and global media for the next two weeks. US gov will pull out all the stops to find and prosecute the perpetrators, and will likely pay out to the victims families handsomely.

On 3/14/2011 Fukushima unit 3 exploded with enough force to destroy a hardened nuclear powerplant, knocked out an entire US Naval carrier battle group, cause the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people forever; rain radiation down on billions of people in the northern hemisphere; wipe out the Japanese economy

And it was barely a blip on the global media radar screen at all; The governments of Japan and US haven't acted to find any responsible parties, or even clean up the mess; and thousands of refugees are still living without reparations; and more an more people are coming down sick every day.

That about sums up the world we inhabit today...

I've read a old book by a Swiss historian ( not famous, not bad either ) : "One century of terrorism" written around or shortly after WW2.
No hurry here.

This news isn't only dominating US news. It's been on the news here non stop for two days now. A net friend said it's like that in their country too. They literally repeat the same news over and over again multiple times per minute.

It's funny how they always make a point to say "no citizens of our country were injured", as if that makes it less tragic.

I also find it funny how one bomb goes off in the US and it's non-stop global headlines for ages, but when shit happens elsewhere nobody cares.
