"Puruto" in Japanese = Plutonium

"Puruto-Kun" had a sister (I don't know if he still has one), and her name was "Natoriumu-ko Chan" (sodium is referred as natrium in Japan) - personifying the sodium cooling system at the high breeder reactor Monju.
