Yomiuri Shinbun (in Japanese; 4:26PM JST 3/19/2011):
In the press conference at 4PM, Chief Cabinet Minister Edano said that the Reactor No.3 in Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant "is stable. Pouring of water into the Spent Fuel Pool has been successful." He continued, "The government will make efforts to improve the situation by pouring water steadily into the Reactors No.3 and 4."
He said the government is planning to pour water into the Spent Fuel Pool of the Reactor No.4 by the Self Defense Force.
Well, at least the reactor didn't blow up in the middle of the press conference like the first one...
Extend and Pretend. If you repeat "success" ad nauseam, maybe it will come true. It's all "narrative", isn't it? Japan's narrative is keep telling itself it's a success, it's a success, it's a success, and it will go away, it will go away, it will go away...
