Update on Boston Marathon Bombing: Experts Speculate It Was a "Domestic Terrorists" Job

The Saudi national who was reported as "suspect" in the initial reporting is in fact a "witness", says Washington Post.

In the place of a foreign terrorist, therefore, we now have a possibility of the bombing carried out by "domestic terrorists", as in Boston Globe. The reasons? One, the explosive devices were too crude to be the work of Al Qaeda; two, Boston Marathon was accessible to everyone.

Definition of domestic extremists under the current administration is not what you may think.

And this from Local15TV.com (4/16/2013; part, emphasis is mine):

UM Coach: Bomb Sniffing Dogs, Spotters on Roofs Before Explosions

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.

"They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it's just a training exercise," Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.

Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He's been in plenty of marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security before.

"Evidently, I don't believe they were just having a training exercise," Stevenson said. "I think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in."

CNN reports a state government official said there were no credible threats before the race.

Could be, but if you look back at the history of terrorism (I don't have time now I'm off to work), a well documented slew of events were FALSE FLAG TERROR. One of the memes is "Oklahoma city bombing" which we know was not just a lone nut, Tim McVeigh, but something more elaborate for sure. The meme of homegrown terrorist is part of Obama's gun grab and the future US police state. The enemy is now Christians! Americans, being the stupidest dumbest people in the world will swallow it all hook, line and sinker.

They were also doing drills for terror attacks in NY on the day of 9/11, weren't they? Seems like the guys who do the attacks are probably in on this information beforehand...

@Anon 3:12PM.
Are you saying that Obama ordered his secret army to bomb innocent people to spread a 'booming' message so that people understand that violence and gun use is inappropriate?

correction ...are inappropriate.

It's not unusual to see bomb sniffing dogs and drills. It doesn't automatically mean this was a planned false flag. Possibly, a threat was either phoned in or there was chatter.

The odder thing is that lots of people remember 3 explosions, one after the other. The media says only 2?

It's very easy for someone to make a bomb and kill a bunch of people. The US is vulnerable like any other country and you don't need an elaborated operation controlled by the government to explain any of this.

I mean, usually conspiracy nuts seem to consider that the government are just incompetent bureaucrats but, when something like this happens, they become capable of orchestrating all kinds of elaborated plans, and somehow keep the secret.

Governments are incompetent bureaucrats when it comes to maintaining their responsibilities. They're only on the ball when their own interests are involved.

With that in mind, it's not so strange that bumbling government can orchestrate elaborate plans. It's not hard to keep it a secret either. There are many easy ways to keep secrets.

And you know how skeptical everyone is about everything. Even if there are several whistleblowers for anything, everyone would just doubt them.

People also automatically ignore and deny what they don't want to believe. Makes hiding conspiracies even easier.

Anyway, I prefer to keep an open-minded stance. Don't believe everything, but don't dismiss everything either. Just be aware of possibilities and take all of them into consideration when necessary.

It's not unreasonable to suspect government being behind these kinds of incidents, if they have sufficient motive.

If the bombing was meant to be a distraction from something else, it's difficult to tell exactly what we're being distracted from because there's so much fail going on in the world right now.

It's not for any of us to know or take action on, anyway. Just express sympathy for the innocent victims and take all explanations with a grain of salt.
