#Fukushima Accident Investigation: Yukio "There Is No Immediate Effect" Edano Takes the Witness Stand in the Diet Commission

Yukio Edano, current Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, was the Chief Cabinet Secretary under Prime Minister Naoto Kan when the nuclear accident started in March 2011.

Just watching this guy makes me physically sick.

Please Japan. Replace him. Retire him. Get him out of the spotlight. Maybe prison if you can find a way? But I do not want to look at him anymore.

Please Japan, put this man and his family in a home right near Fulushima Daiichi and force them to live there. Also force him to go to work doing manual labor at the reactor site. This justice needs to be served to him and the others like him.

I was watching the testimony, and Edano looked good. Well-rested, no stress, clear speech (not like incomprehensible lawyer-babble of March last year). He effectively blamed everything on someone else but himself.
